Managing Director
George S. Mack is founder and managing director of BioDecade where
he is in an analyst and writer focusing on the field of molecular biology.
Clientele include institutional investors, venture capitalists, intellectual
property lawyers and C-level executives in the biotechnology and
pharmaceutical industries.
Dr. Mack is a consulting analyst for Decision Resources where he
produces pharma and biotech industry reports, and he is a feature writer
at Nature Biotechnology which ranks first out of the 132 journals in the
category of biotechnology and applied microbiology and is among the top
20 scientific journals in the world according to the ISI citation journal
reports. Media outlets in the past decade include Wall Street Research,
Reuters Research, Journal of the National Cancer Institute, MSN Money
on CNBC and Nature Medicine. He is a regular guest and commentator
on South Carolina's statewide network of National Public Radio affiliates.
He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia where
he earned his BS and majored in biology and the Medical University of
South Carolina in Charleston where he earned his DMD degree.
